Uncover Devon and Cornwall direct from Newcastle International Airport

Whether visiting Devon and Cornwall for business or pleasure, the South West offers so much for travellers from the North East. The region has a mild climate, stunning beaches, picturesque countryside, historic harbours and picture-postcard villages. Add to that the reputation the region has for top class locally produced food and drink and Devon and Cornwall are ideal destinations.

Cornwall is a haven for walkers with a spectacular coastal footpath and watersports are big too – surfers, kite surfers and water skiers are all regulars on the beaches. Cornwall is also world famous for its fragrant spring gardens and of course, the imposing Eden Project.

Plymouth is centrally placed for exploring Devon and its sandy beaches, the mystery and majesty of the moors or stopping over for a great city break with plenty of shopping and sightseeing to be had. Devon’s world class landscape includes two National Parks and two World Heritage sites meaning visitors are spoilt for choice. Devon is also extremely rich culturally and historically.

The Artemis Transat Race at Sutton Harbour, Plymouth will begin in May and the Tall Ships head to Falmouth in September….another two reasons to visit.
